sea king arrives at the land of fire
Dear light-bearer,
On Jan 26th 2026, the planet Neptune entered the sign Aries ♈, and will be there until 2038. Since 2011/12, Neptune has travelled through Pisces ♓ — the sea king wading through the deep ocean. They have reminded us that our spirit is powerful, and that spirituality is not a commodity to be held behind institutional locks and keys. They dissolved any illusions we had of being separate from the issues that we face around the globe. They taught us that we need to reclaim magic, divination and liminal realms unreachable by rational thought, to swim toward the great ocean of our dreams and reconnect with our intuition.
Now in fiery Aries, Neptune ushers the dissolution of rigid barriers that control our allegiance, through the identity we have created for ourselves, or were thrust on us by our cultures/nation-states. After the psychedelic underworld journey of awakening our unconscious (Pisces), Neptune promises to blur the boundaries of our ego (Aries). They call for new dreams of what it means to be in an individual on a planet that is 71 percent water, water that cycles and flows and connects us all. Neptune breaks down our defenses, to open the way to futures where sovereignty and interdependence go hand in hand.
This transitionary period, as Neptune settles into Aries, spotlights the need for balance between our faith (Pisces) and our leadership (Aries). We need our leadership to be rooted in land and water based Indigenous cosmologies that defy the prioritization of rational thought above all else. We need our spirituality to be rooted in self-leadership that rejects institutional control over our collective faith.
I didn't know when I was going to launch illumi9ate, when I envisioned it—but this threshold feels serendipitously apt. illumi9ate is a way opening container for leaders with care and love in your heart, wanting to activate the potential of your intuition. It is for you who is tired of being told what 'the way' is and are ready to create your own. It is for you who is willing to dive the deep sea of your spirit's intelligence to blaze forth with your creative power.
