02:25:56 Hello, friends! How are you doing? I ame back to Toronto, where I live, um…. I don't know, it's been a few days, I want to say it's been a week. But it's been, a bit of a haze. Even though it's only 3 hours of time difference coming back from the West to the East, just feeling a bit spun around time-wise. 02:26:33 It's also been an adjustment coming back from having so much time, so close to the water, just being outside, to my space, which was lovingly cared for by some friends who stay here. And yet, it was, you know, just a bit, rough, I want to say, just kind of adjusting to going from, um, staying in ch'alitch, where it was so quiet, and all I could hear was, bird sounds, and I could see so many stars, to peak city vibes, so…. Here we are, I'm just, 02:27:14 Kind of, I don't know, I was procrastinating doing this for a long time, and I felt myself feel this very familiar pattern of my throat just closing up and being like, "mmm, do we even have anything to say? You don't even know what you want to say, so why should we go and try to say anything when we don't even know what it is. Also, you said that you were going to have this workshop already and you're still pulling it together, so…. You don't have anything to say." 02:27:52 But, I'm trying to address that head-on by just trying to show up and say things. It was getting quite easy there for me for a bit, so it's cool to maybe revisit some of the underlying mechanisms that keep me tethered to, you know, I guess, being afraid or hesitant to show up when the plan isn't very clear. 02:28:24 So, yeah. Alright, so, I tried to re-listen to or, uh, look into what I was saying last time, and it turns out that I had some good ideas on what I wanted to do with my workshop. Like I was just saying, it's not in, you know, I haven't done a lot more on it since the last time I talked to y'all. I just, uh, as I was explaining, with my travel, and other…. life-change things that are being seeded in the background for me. So, we'll see what unfolds. 02:29:12 I did want to tell you that. I ended up going kayaking with my partner, as I was saying last time, it was really fun. I had to do more than I expected, because we had a boat that had a rudder on it, so, I was able to, even though I was sitting in the back, able to kind of switch directions for the boat, et cetera, by just using my legs, and then occasionally I'll try to help by rowing. But every time I would row, I would press the leg thing, and then the boat would just turn, and then I was like, I'm trying to do one thing, but I do both. Anyway, it was funny, but. 02:29:57 Um, my partner really supported me, and she kept us on pace. You know, we figured it out, we figured out, our collaboration, but, I did end up seeing so many moon jellyfish. Just, like, translucent jellyfish that apparently don't sting, which was very cool. 02:30:20 And we saw starfish, they're purple, and they just kind of hang by, we just saw them on the rocky surfaces near the water. 02:30:35 oh, and seals, we saw them laying on the rocks at one point, and then when we came back around, they were all in the water, they just bob their heads up in the water, and it's so cute, so cute. So, yeah, did all that, looked through some stuff in the binoculars. 02:30:57 I tried to take some pictures, in between, you know, trying to not fall off the boat and being terrified. I did not do that much, but I had a really good time. The trip was fairly packed towards the end there, but I was so grateful for all the time spent, just taking in my environment, experiencing the quiet, experiencing the dark sky. 02:31:30 On one of the nights, I was able to see so many stars, I stayed out as late as I could, I was, like, please no snakes, but…. It turns out that the snakes there don't, um, aren't poisonous, or don't bite or something, so. Overall, pretty chill, and we went to this forest area that had these really clearly marked trails, accessible parts of the trails, really old trees. 02:32:04 And we saw a waterfall, just…. so beautiful, and I got to visit some of these, shishal'h Nation, um, totem poles that were carved by Indigenous artists for different occasions at different places over time. And we just drove by in our car, and I got taken to see them, and read about their history through some pamphlets and things I had. 02:32:39 That was…. it's really something to…. See how much beauty and culture and language, and symbolism, and storytelling is being passed down through these motif sculpture art landmarks. And I was really grateful to get to see that. 02:33:21 Yeah. So, I am back. I went to Abolition Pride with my friends. I was only there for a little bit, because I showed up too late, I got caught in the actual Pride Parade, which was that day, and I somehow forgot, so, 02:33:40 Cancel my Gay membership! (sarcasm) I guess you can't that, but, you know, I should have remembered that it was pride, but had to just get off the car that I was in, because I tried to go to see my friends on time, and then, anyway.. I ended up having to walk 25 minutes around the city to get to the other side, past the parade, but, 02:34:07 I did make it, but it was fairly late. I got to be there just for a little bit at Abolitionist Pride. I think their website is no pride in policing, canada, or dot com (https://noprideinpolicing.ca/). 02:34:21 And there is also a Disability Pride March and picnic next week at the same place, and Some of my other friends are going to that, so I might go back to that. 02:34:37 I am, you know, trying more and more these days to do all the fringe Pride events, maybe the Trans March, things like that, that are a little bit more explicitly anti-cop, but also, just a bit more chill in terms of how many people are there. 02:35:00 I also tend to go to the the parts of them where it's, like, hanging out at a park for the picnic part of the march, which I really appreciate. 02:35:11 Yeah, it's been cool, the weather here is much, much warmer than on the West Coast, I think my partner and I just missed a heat wave, before we came back, but this week sounds like it's gonna be hotter. 02:35:23 So anyway, I don't know that I have that much more to say, I just wanted to kind of drop in here, give you a quick update on where I am, what I'm up to, and yeah, I'm gonna, keep doing the thing. Trying to rest a bit this week, catch up on some stuff, and then, I will continue to talk to y'all. 02:36:06 All right. Take care, folks. Bye.
